A summer of fundraising 2022!
As the summer months draw to a close, here’s a look back on the highlights in our summer of fundraising:
The Oakes Family
The Oakes family hosted a charity ball in July in memory of family member Tony, who passed away from CC in 2021. The ball was a huge success and a great time was had by all! The money raised from the event has been donated to research into cholangiocarcinoma.
Andy Spavins
Andy and Jo Spavins hosted stalls at both the East Kirby Air show and IBCC Salute to the 40’s show to raise awareness of AMMF and Cholangiocarcinoma, and sell AMMF merchandise in memory of Andy’s dad, Mark, who had a real passion for aviation. Andy and Jo have been amazing supporters of AMMF since they were made aware of the charity and continue to find new ways to raise awareness and funds, which we are truly grateful for.

Lisa Parks
Friends and family of Lisa Parks gathered at a race night held to raise money for AMMF and to support Lisa. Jacqueline, Bertie, Susan, Mandy, Fiona and Julie organised a fantastic event and raised an amazing amount of money for AMMF.
A great time had by all
DoTERRA
DoTERRA Essential Oils Europe took park in a charity football match after we were highlighted as their charity of choice for the event. Over 30 people played their part in the match which saw winning side Walton Wanderer’s secure a comfortable victory.

Amy Moore
In partnership with her employers Search Seven, Amy Moore has taken part in a number of activities to fundraise for AMMF over the summer. Amy set herself the challenge to walk 100 miles across the month of August, taking part in a half marathon with her colleagues to power towards her target, which they did walking the streets of London on one of the hottest days of the month! Amy also hosted a stall at a car boot sale, donating the proceeds of sales made on the day to AMMF.
Search Seven will be hosting a charity golf day in October where along with other charities, AMMF will be benefitting from any proceeds raised from the event. If you are interested in taking part, please contact info@ammf.org.uk for more details
