AMMF’s Virtual 2021 European Cholangiocarcinoma Conference

AMMF’s Cholangiocarcinoma Conference

Save the Date!
AMMF’s European Cholangiocarcinoma Conference will take place virtually 13 – 14 May 2021

AMMF’s annual cholangiocarcinoma conference facilitates and encourages the sharing of information amongst interested medics in the UK, Europe and internationally, providing an opportunity to find out about improvements in treatments, what and where clinical trials are available.  It also provides updates on research and encourages collaboration between researchers and medics.

Patients and their carers are always included in AMMF’s conferences, where they have the opportunity to find out about available clinical trials, and to hear from those specialists at the forefront of research into care for those with cholangiocarcinoma.  With presentations specifically for patients and carers, opportunities are will be provided for them to meet and ask questions of the experts.

This year’s conference has a European focus, and will be held virtually 13 – 14 May 2021

Please make sure you note 13 – 14 May in your calendars. Full conference details coming very soon!

AMMF Cholangiocarcinoma Conference 2020
Following the government guidelines and lockdown that came into force in the UK on 23 March 2020, AMMF’s Cholangiocarcinoma Conference, due to be held 13-15 May, was postponed.  Although this was due to an unprecedented set of circumstances, it was hugely disappointing to all of us at AMMF and, we know, to many of you

We are now delighted that the date for the next AMMF CCA Conference has now been set for 13-14 May, 2021, and will be a virtual event.  Please note this in your calendars – full details coming soon.

If you have cholangiocarcinoma, you are probably especially worried about the coronavirus (COVID-19), as cancer and its treatment can lower the body’s ability to fight infection. There is information on AMMF’s website, with links to the relevant areas of the NHS, PHE and WHO, who are regularly updating their details as restrictions and advice changes..
