AMMF Cholangiocarcinoma Conference 2020

COVID-19 Pandemic
Following government guidelines and the lockdown that came into force in the UK on 23 March, AMMF’s Cholangiocarcinoma Conference, due to be held 13-15 May, was postponed.

Although this was due to an unprecedented set of circumstances, it was hugely disappointing to all of us at AMMF and, we know, to many of you.

The date for the next AMMF CCA Conference has now been set for 12-14 May, 2021 – please note this in your calendars. Full details coming soon.

If you have cholangiocarcinoma, you are probably especially worried about the coronavirus (COVID-19), as cancer and its treatment can lower the body’s ability to fight infection. There is information on AMMF’s website, with links to the relevant areas of the NHS, PHE and WHO, who are regularly updating their details. https://ammf.org.uk/covid-19-advice/

AMMF Cholangiocarcinoma Conference 2019
AMMF’s CCA Conference 2019 showcased the latest advances in research for this challenging cancer, and we welcomed over 200 attendees from 17 countries.

Attendees included a 14-strong delegation from Khon Kaen University, Thailand, board members of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation of Thailand, HPB professionals from across the world with an interest in CCA, industry representatives and, always at the heart of AMMF’s conferences, patients and carers.
