Paul Cattano - Age: 79

On October 11th 2022 the most wonderful, funny and loving father, husband and grandfather passed away from metastatic cholangiocarcinoma.

On February 22nd 2022, Paul was given the heartbreaking diagnosis and told he had around 3 months at a maximum, he was determined to get longer than this, Paul was a fighter through and through, continuing with his daily light exercises and witty humour right until he left us, 8 months after the diagnosis, nearly triple what he was told to expect!

Paul had good days, where you would never know he was unwell, but he also had bad days, where he felt depressed, angry or frightened, luckily he had his large loving family right by his side the whole way.

Even in his last days Paul was still cracking jokes with his palliative care nurses and putting on a brave face for his family.

On October 11th Paul lost his battle with Cholangiocarcinoma which shattered the hearts of his family, he is deeply missed by his wife, Jackie, his three children, Carla, Ben and Gabbie, and his 5 grandchildren, Joe, Susie, Belle, Amber and Alex.

We miss you so much Grandad, I love you always xxx
