Mary Valenzuela-Hogue

Age: 60

I was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma in August 2009. As the tumour was embedded in my liver, I had a liver resection. (I had colon cancer in August 2006). I also had 9 months of Cisplatin and Gemcitabine chemotherapy.

I have been cancer free since 2010 and I thank God every day for another breath. I did some volunteer work at the City of Hope in Duarte-CA for a while.

I am doing okay for now. I live positive and try to enjoy life.

Just want to say God Bless all those that go through this too.

Mary
