Giving in Memory

Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult things any of us have to face. But during a time of sadness, finding a way to honour the memory of your loved one can be of some comfort.  It can also be a comfort for other family members and friends to know that giving to AMMF in memory of a loved one will help other families affected by cholangiocarcinoma.

Donations AMMF receives in memory are extremely special to us. A way of honouring those precious lives lost to cholangiocarcinoma and making us more determined and committed to our cause.

Donations in lieu of funeral flowers
We can supply specially designed donation envelopes which can be used for collecting donations at a service. If you would like some of these, they are available through our online shop (https://ammf.org.uk/ammf-shop/), or contact fundraising@ammf.org.uk.

The envelopes make it easy for friends and family to donate and to add Gift Aid to their donation. Some people choose to insert the envelopes into the order of service making donations discrete.

Funeral directors and memorial pages
Your funeral director can arrange for a memorial page to be set up in the name of your loved one, where relatives and friends can make their donation for AMMF, and leave special messages. (Here you may also be able to leave your own tribute message, expressing your feelings, giving comfort and support to all those affected by your loss.)

AMMF is registered with Much Loved, Love2Donate and JustGiving. Please speak to your funeral director for more information.

Thank you
At this sad and difficult time we are honoured that you have chosen to support AMMF, and we thank you sincerely for all your support.

Bereavement support
For those experiencing grief, there are organisations able to offer a listening ear, support and information.  Find out more by visiting AMMF’s Helpful Links page.

Creating an In Memory page for your loved one
Remembering someone via Just GivingYou can also remember a loved one in your own way, by creating an In Memory page through Justgiving, where photographs, memories and messages can be posted and donations made to AMMF.

An In Memory page can remain open for as long as you like, so you, friends and family can mark special days, by adding messages and donations for years to come.

To set up an In Memory page to honour a loved one, go to Justgiving, click on the Start Fundraising button and choose the In Memory icon.
