Hi all, I’m new to AMMF.just need some advice please, my brother is 44 with a 4 yr old son he has bile duct cancer diagnosed 2 years ago, he had major surgery to remove a tumour in the bile duct which was also wrapped around his main artery, he did not have chemo after as they were confident they had got it all out, now 18 months later it’s back in the same place. They also removed half his liver in last operation, this time they saying they can’t operate and it’s terminal , he refuses chemo as it won’t cure him , he is trying his own alternative therapies but if left this tumour will block the bile duct and the jaundice, itching and sickness will return. We asked about immunotherapy but it’s not been trialled yet. My heart is breaking at the thought of losing my little brother and his son his Daddy, how long will he have left I’m scared to ask. It’s so rare for someone his age , does anyone know of other men of this age with this horrible disease?any advice I would be grateful for. Thankyou

AMMF. Thankyou for your kind reply . I really do need to hear from people in the same situation as my brother . Without chemo I don’t know what will happen and how quickly, he’s already suffering with daily sickness and tiredness. Any advice is appreciated.
